This illustration was created as part of a teaching series I had created, focused on immersive environment design. I wanted to explore the challenge of lighting a night-time scene while keeping the space atmospheric, readable, and full of quiet magic.

The concept centers on a tall, circular wizard’s study, filled with towering bookshelves, parchment flying mid-air, and glowing floating candles. A large moon casts a soft light through the windows and glass doors, while the glowing spell circle anchors the composition. The mood is meant to feel calm, enchanted, and inviting — a peaceful retreat for study and spellwork.

This is a simpler environment illustration compared to my more detailed book cover portfolio projects, but it reflects my approach to magical world-building and lighting in Procreate.
